Multidisciplinary Team Co-ordinator Diabetes & Endocrinology

Join us as a Multidisciplinary Team Co-ordinator Diabetes & Endocrinology at NHS Ayrshire & Arran.

Position Overview

This role is based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, working closely with the Diabetes/Endocrinology Department to support patient pathways. The shift pattern is 0900-1700 Monday to Friday, with some shifts outside these hours to meet service demands. The role involves high-volume workload management, requiring prioritization skills. Occasional assistance with other administrative roles may be needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with all members of the Multi-Disciplinary Team and clerical staff.
  • Provide administrative support to help the MDT achieve its outcomes and targets.
  • Deliver high-level secretarial and administrative services, including data collection, analysis, and presentation.
  • Arrange patient appointments related to the MDT.
