Job summary

Wine Rack in Oakville, Ontario is seeking a store manager to lead daily operations, set sales strategies and train a high‑performing team. You will recruit staff, create schedules, and uphold safety and service standards across the store.

The role requires 2 years of retail management and customer service experience, a dynamic leadership style, and flexibility to work evenings and weekends. Smart Serve certification is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in retail management and customer service.
• Dynamic and positive personality with strong leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment where priorities change.
• Ability to make complex decisions with integrity that supports company guidelines.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Smart Serve Certification is required.

What you’ll be doing:

• Setting strategies, sales goals, and targets for the store and creating a communication plan to present to the store team
• Proficient with Microsoft suite applications
• Motivated to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Ensuring store conditions are consistently upheld to established standards
• Ability to make schedules for staff and work on creating a sound work environment
• Promoting and maintaining a safe work environment
• Accountable for all aspects of in store inventory
• Accountability for store recruitment and building a high-performance team in the store.
• Develop merchants at all levels through coaching, training and one on one discussions

Who You Are:

• Incentive Compensation: Budgeted Salary Range is $48,011.52 - $72,018.49 with a targeted range of $50,000 - $60,000. The budgeted range will align with qualifications, including experience, education, training, licenses, certifications and other business and organizational requirements.
