Job summary

Techo-Bloc is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to maintain and advance our multi-site infrastructure across Canada and the U.S. You will manage servers, networks, storage, and cloud resources, ensuring reliability and security while documenting fixes for future reference.

In this role you will collaborate with IT and field teams, own incident response, contribute to the infrastructure roadmap, and travel about 5% to sites in Quebec, Ontario, and the United States.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a systems administrator or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Experience in a multi-site environment, ideally manufacturing or distribution.
• Hands-on with virtualized servers (Linux & Windows), networks and storage.
• Strong command of the Microsoft stack: Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Intune, SharePoint, Azure IaaS
• Experience with backup, archiving, monitoring, and disaster recovery planning/testing.
• Familiarity with ERP environments
• Comfortable working from an ITSM/ticketing platform — Jira preferred.
• Experience in Cloud Environment (Azure, AWS, Docker)
• Fluency in French and English is required

Responsibilities

• Ensure infrastructure operates in compliance with policies and standards.
• Participate in multi-site infrastructure installations and administration.
• Monitor, patch, and troubleshoot infrastructure components to prevent outages.
• Analyze problems, diagnose root causes, and drive to resolution.
• Manage data backup, archiving, and disaster recovery testing.
• Contribute to IT projects and produce technical documentation.
• Provide after-hours support on a rotating on-call schedule.
• Travel ~5% to sites in QC, Ontario, US.
