Job summary

Adult & Teen Challenge of Central Canada is seeking a Facilities & Property Manager in Flin Flon, MB. You will oversee hands-on maintenance, supervise contractors, and lead upcoming renovations to keep buildings safe, functional, and well-maintained across the northern Manitoba region.

The role requires a proactive, hands-on mindset with ability to manage multiple sites, develop preventive maintenance plans, and align with ministry goals and values.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of hands-on building maintenance or facilities experience.
• Strong working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
• Ability and willingness to perform physical, daily maintenance work.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving issues independently.

Responsibilities

• Daily facility care including walkthroughs and routine maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance issues and decide internal vs external resolution.
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors for renovations and major projects.
• Travel between sites to ensure operational excellence.
• Develop preventative maintenance schedules and track costs.
• Support redevelopment projects across ministry spaces.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and a well-managed environment.
