Job summary

The Estée Lauder Companies is seeking freelance sales associates in Winnipeg to provide makeup artistry, skincare and fragrance consultations in-store. You will create a welcoming, inspirational experience and educate customers while collaborating with a high-performing team.

Experience in makeup artistry or retail is desirable, with openness to beginners. Strong emphasis on customized service, event support and adherence to visual merchandising standards to differentiate the store.

As one of our highly skilled freelance sales associates (that provides either make-up application; skin care advice, hair or fragrance consultations) you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers.

You will also like working as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

While certification in makeup artistry and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable, we also welcome applicants with beginner-level expertise. Qualifications

• While retail experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who are able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fastpaced work environment
• Previous experience with retail pointofsale software
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview

Pay Range:

Anticipated Base Salary Range $17.55 to $28.00 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget), based on a 40 hour work week (range to be scaled accordingly). In addition, the Company maintains highly competitive incentive compensation programs (role eligibility may vary based on terms of the respective plan(s)).
