Job summary

Estée Lauder Companies in Canada is seeking a dynamic freelance sales associate to provide makeup application and skincare consultations, creating a welcoming and personalized in-store experience for customers. You will join a high‑performing team focused on in-store events and visual merchandising that elevates brand presence.

Certification in makeup artistry is desirable, but beginner expertise is welcome.

Qualifications

• Provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service

Description

As one of our highly skilled freelance sales associates (that provides either make-up application; skin care advice, hair or fragrance consultations) you will combine your creative and technical expertise and passion for people to provide a welcoming, inspirational and personalized in-store experience which educates and delights our customers.

You will also like working as part of a high performing team to create impact with in-store events and to ensure that the store always achieves our high standards of visual merchandising to stand out against our competitors.

While certification in makeup artistry and/or prior retail makeup experience is desirable, we also welcome applicants with beginner-level expertise. Qualifications

• While retail experience is preferred, we welcome applicants with amateur level experience who are able to demonstrate a high level of creative and technical expertise
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate the ability to provide inspirational, authentic and personalized customer service
• Ability to work retail hours including days, nights, weekends and special events in a fast⁃paced work environment
• Previous experience with retail point⁃of⁃sale software
• Applicants must be able to provide proof of right to live and work in the country if invited to attend for interview

Pay Range: Anticipated Base Salary Range $17.75 to $28.00 (Depending on qualifications, skills, experience and/or budget), based on a 40 hour work week (range to be scaled accordingly). In addition, the Company maintains highly competitive incentive compensation programs (role eligibility may vary based on terms of the respective plan(s)).
