About the team and role :

We are the eBay B2C Core Listing Tool & System Team! We are seeking an MTS Frontend Software Engineer to join the team in our Toronto location!

We build new and groundbreaking large scale internet applications used by millions of business sellers around the globe every day and drive critical, meaningful & impactful changes to one of world's largest internet properties, these applications help business sellers worldwide to onboard, manage, and grow their businesses on eBay's global marketplace.

In this role, you will contribute at the very core of eBay’s selling experience, to deliver an engaging selling experience for more than 25 million sellers across 22 nations, who collectively generate billions of dollars in revenue quarterly. Performance, reliability, scalability and accuracy are of utmost importance as this area of work is at the absolute top of the funnel for all of eBay’s extensive e-commerce ecosystem.

What you will accomplish :

Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and roll out system changes. Identify project technical risks and recommend mitigation strategies.

Address accessibility issues and ensure compliance standards, being familiar with web accessibility testing and tools.

What you will bring :

Proficient in Ajax and web template technologies, with expert-level skills in server-side Node.js web application development with strong abilities in data structures and algorithms.

Knowledge of automation testing tools and experience in writing automation tests to cover unit, component, and UI visual tests.

Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies, implement and manage CI / CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.

Additional experience with GraphQL and REST services for API integration, Full-stack engineering skills and previous software engineering experience in the e-commerce industry would be a plus!
