Job description

One of TEEMA's clients is looking for a Microsoft Power Platform Business/Systems Analyst to join their broader Fund Operations technology team in their Burnaby office. Microsoft Dynamics CRM is currently used throughout the organization globally and is part of their strategy to move to cloud services (Dynamics 365 and Power BI).

This is a multifaceted role encompassing both business and technical skill focusing on the Power Platform. On the business side, you will be responsible for process design, requirements gathering, analysis, testing and support across the power platform (Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Power BI and eventually Power Automate). On the technical side, you will carry out basic Dynamics 365 customization and configuration, build data models and data pipelines within PowerBI, diagnose system issues, provide solutions where feasible and perform data extracts and analysis. There is also an opportunity to be involved in the development of mobile applications (Power Apps).

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support and Develop the Power Platform, which includes Dynamics, Power BI, Dataflows and Reports.
  • Work closely with business teams to understand their processes and system requirements.
  • Propose innovative solutions that solve complex problems and meet business requirements in the most effective way.
  • Maintain consistency and best practice.
  • Take ownership of projects from end to end.
  • Explore and research new technologies to bring new ideas.
Skills and Experience:
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Preferably, you will have experience and demonstrated knowledge in:
    • Dynamics CRM and the Power Platform in a similar role
    • SQL query writing
    • Data modelling in Power BI, Power Query M and DAX
    • Full SDLC, including requirements analysis, testing and support
