Estimated Salary Range: $48,038.41 - $95,716.45 (Subject to Salary Placement Rules)

Scope of Responsibilities:

Plans, organizes, and delivers instruction based on approved curriculum; monitors and evaluates student progress; maintains records; enforces policies; supervises students; secures school property.

Minimum Requirements:

• Kentucky Certification and endorsements for the technical program
• Occupational experience and academic preparation approved by the Board and Kentucky regulations
• Effective communication skills

Desirable Qualifications:

• Experience in diverse workplaces

Requirements to be an Occupation-Based Teacher:

• US Citizen with a high school diploma or GED
• Four years of occupational experience in the teaching area, with up to one year satisfied by an accredited occupational program
• At least two years of experience within the last five years

Certification Requirements:

• Professional teaching certification for the course code or meet occupation-based teaching requirements (see attached documents)
• Possession of a CA-27 Consultant certification in the relevant area/grade span (minimum 3 years teaching experience required)
