Job description

Contract Length : 1 year with potential for extension

Pay : IC pay rates: $45.35 to $55.33; T4 pay rates: $37.19 to $45.37

Reporting to the Team Lead SCM Upstream Lloydminster, the successful candidate will provide day-to-day material buying support to Lloydminster Upstream Operations Maintenance and Turnaround teams.

The MRP buyer role is responsible for :

  1. Executing and managing computerized material ordering and scheduling to fulfill all material requirements (stock replenishment & work order demand). Executing urgent material requests from the business unit.
  2. Creating and maintaining RFQs to obtain price and delivery information from suppliers for non-contract materials. Ensuring the best value in terms of price, delivery, product quality, etc.
  3. Maintaining Source Lists in SAP to support a streamlined MRP ordering process.
  4. Working with SSC to address price discrepancies, PO confirmations, and GR/IR imbalances.
  5. Collaborating with Inventory Technicians to ensure prompt and accurate execution of MRP Collective List (conversion from Planned Order to Purchase Requisition).
  6. Coordinating with Warehouse staff to ensure timely goods receipt of materials to meet requirements dates and support internal KPIs (OTIF).
  7. Delivering training as required to maintenance planners to ensure understanding of the integration points between PM and MRP.

Must be legally entitled to work in Canada.

Post-Secondary Certificate / Diploma.

Minimum of two years of Supply Chain experience.

Additional qualifications that would be considered an asset include:

  • Supply Chain Management certification
  • Experience in SAP MM (Materials Management)
  • Knowledge of Procure to Pay (P2P) lifecycle
