Qualifications

• CMRITO registration is required.
• MRT (MR) designation is required.
• Current BCLS certification is required.
• CAMRT membership is required.
• Course work in cross-sectional anatomy, IV administration and contrast injection is required.
• Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, demanding environment; on-call shifts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Recent MR technologist hospital experience preferred.
• Commitment to continuing education and staying current with MRI trends.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic MR images and post-processing reformats.
• Ensure patient and staff safety in the MR environment.
• Follow protocols and physician directives; prioritize tasks and patient workload.
• Work independently and as part of a team to maximize scanner utilization.
• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot MRI equipment and document issues.
• Participate in learner education and training of staff.
