MRI Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging (Signing Bonus Available)

Join the Nova Scotia Health Authority as an MRI Technologist - Diagnostic Imaging and enjoy a signing bonus. This is a full-time, permanent position located at the Valley Regional Hospital in the Western Zone.

About the Role

The MRI Technologist is responsible for managing MRI suites, instructing students, and supervising staff. Ensuring patient safety, performing complex imaging procedures, and maintaining departmental standards are key responsibilities. The role requires adherence to safety protocols related to magnetic and radio frequency fields.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited MRI program
  • Canadian MRI certification and licensure with NSCMIRTP
  • Experience in MRI preferred
  • Competency in IV insertion
  • Strong decision-making and communication skills
  • Ability to adapt and work as part of a team
  • French language skills are an asset
Benefits and Incentives
