About The Job

Reporting to the Professional Practice Leader (or designate), the MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures. This position is responsible for assisting Radiologists during procedures, inputting patient-specific data into the Radiology Information System (RIS) and PACS, and providing guidance to student technologists and staff trainees. KBRH is the regional center for the Kootenay Boundary Health Service Area. Our Medical Imaging staff work with a broad demographic of patients in inpatient and outpatient procedures. The department is preparing for future redesign and the installation of a new scanner.

This is a Relief Part-Time (0.29 FTE) position until the incumbent returns. Shifts will be scheduled on a rotating basis, including days and evenings.
