• Desire and ability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after training.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.

Job description

Location : Montreal Hybrid (3 days in office) + ability to be in Mirabel (North Shore)

Night Shift : 1pm to 10 pm or 2 pm to 11pm

Job description :

As part of a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will build and develop dispositions for non-conformance material, parts, assemblies, and systems.

Key responsibilities :

• Investigate non-conformances reported by the quality group.
• Evaluate manufacturing deviations and their effects within the assembly.
• Create engineering dispositions supported by drawings, sketches, and standards.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Collaborate closely with Engineering Specialists such as Stress, M&P, and Aerodynamics.
• Work with production and support groups (Methods/Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics) to resolve operational or engineering issues on aircraft.
• Share information and collaborate across sites to ensure technical knowledge sharing.
• Coordinate with other MAP offices (Spain, Mexico, India) to meet client requirements.
• Mentor new MRB candidates through on-the-job training.

Required Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in aeronautical or mechanical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years MRB / MAP experience in commercial/business aircraft OR eight (8) years design experience in aerospace.
• Excellent knowledge of aircraft structures and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of mechanics of materials, stress analysis, and composite materials.
• Desire and ability to obtain Engineering MRB delegation after training.
• Knowledge of design office (design or stress) for aircraft structures (Airframe).
• Extensive experience with CATIA V5 or similar CAD software.
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken); bilingual in French and English is an asset.
• Excellent communication and social skills, dedication, and responsibility in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
