Job summary

Héroux-Devtek Inc. is seeking an MRB engineer in Saint-Hubert to analyze non-conformities of landing gear components and ensure MRB treatment complies with design and certification requirements.

Reporting to the Engineering Support Team Lead, you will determine repair sequences, apply CATIA GD&T skills, and work in a multidisciplinary environment with bilingual communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical / aerospace / material & process / Chemical engineering.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in an Aerospace manufacturing environment, landing gear preferred.
• Good understanding of high strength steel materials and manufacturing processes (Chrome/cad/nickel plating, grinding...etc).
• Good communication and report writing skills (French and English).
• Working knowledge of GD&T, 2D drawings and 3D models in CATIA V5/V6.
• Able to work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Analyze non-conformities of landing gear components to ensure MRB treatment and integrity.
• Determine sequence of operations for repairs when applicable.
• Ensure MRB decisions meet Héroux-Devtek and customer design/certification requirements.

Main responsibilities

Reporting to the Engineering Support Team Lead, the MRB engineer analyzes non-conformities of the landing gear components in order to ensure appropriate MRB treatment with regard to their integrity. The MRB treatments will ensure that the non-conforming product obtained meets all the minimum design and certification requirements of Héroux-Devtek and the customer. If the decision is that the part can be repaired for use in service, he/she will determine the sequence of operations to be performed.

Qualifications
