Job summary

Precision Drilling is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to perform on-site maintenance and repairs at wellsite trailers and camp units. You will diagnose issues, service field equipment, and travel to lease locations to support operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean abstract.
• Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, and First Aid certifications.
• Strong commitment to safety and the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on wellsite trailers and camp units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, satellite, and light carpentry work
• Service and maintain field equipment such as generators, engines, 400 bbl tanks, horizontal invert/brine tanks, Gorman Rupp pumps, and fluid transfer hoses
• Travel to oilfield lease locations to install, rig in/out, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair wellsite accommodations, tanks, generator buildings, vacuum units, centrifuges, and related equipment, including occasional out-of-town work
• Operate heavy equipment, clean, inspect, repair, and paint equipment while supporting general shop operations
• Participate in required overtime and on-call rotations to support field operations and customer needs

Day In The Life

What We Need From You

• High school diploma required; post-secondary vocational or technical training is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a current driver’s abstract
• Current WHMIS, TDG, H2S, CSO, and First Aid certifications required
• Strong commitment to safety, with a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Positive attitude with strong written and verbal communication skills and a solid work ethic
