Anthropont Talent Solutions is hiring a Managed Pressure Drilling (MPD) Field Technician for an active drilling program with one of our oilfield service clients. This is a contract-based, field-deployed role supporting the assembly, maintenance, and field troubleshooting of MPD equipment in Western Canada. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, understands flow paths, and can follow complex hydraulic and pneumatic schematics.
Assemble, test, and troubleshoot MPD components including valves, manifolds, chokes, and choke actuators.
Assist in the rig-up and deployment of MPD systems at the wellsite.
Maintain MPD equipment and ensure field-readiness at all times.
Conduct routine site checks on deployed systems, communicate with Company Representatives, and manage field documentation (including ticketing and reporting).
Understand MPD flow paths and correctly install equipment according to P&ID (Piping and Instrumentation Diagram) specifications.
Inspect and troubleshoot both pneumatic and hydraulic control systems associated with MPD operations.
