Job summary

BrokerLink is seeking a Moves Analyst to support branch openings, moves, and decommissions nationwide. You will conduct onsite technology discovery, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and provide hands-on end-user support during cutovers.

Travel across Canada is required with possible after-hours work. The role requires an enterprise deskside support background, experience with Windows environments, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

  • University degree/college diploma in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Strong deskside support experience in an enterprise environment.
  • Experience managing/supporting Microsoft workstation and server operating systems.
  • Vendor coordination/management experience (nice to have).

Responsibilities

  • Complete onsite technology discovery to confirm branch and user requirements.
  • Support branch openings, office moves, and decommissions by completing required network tasks.
  • Inventory and document technology assets, services, and applications at each location.
  • Create and maintain documentation (SOPs, checklists, runbooks).

However, we encourage candidates who may fall outside of this range to apply as well.About the roleWe are looking for a Moves Analyst to join our growing team!About the roleAs a Moves Analyst , you’ll support the planning and execution of branch openings, office moves, and decommissions across the BrokerLink environment. You’ll complete onsite technology and network readiness activities, coordinate with internal teams and vendors, and provide hands-on support during cutovers/go-live to ensure a smooth transition for end-users. This role requires travel across Canada and occasional after-hours work based on move schedules.Responsibilities:Complete onsite technology discovery to confirm branch and user requirementsSupport branch openings, office moves, and decommissions by completing required network and connectivity tasksInventory and document technology assets, services, and applications at each locationCoordinate equipment redeployment and arrange secure recycling/destruction where requiredProvide hands-on end-user support during cutover/go-live to ensure a smooth transitionCreate and maintain documentation (SOPs, checklists, runbooks, and site notes)Coordinate activities with employees, internal support teams, vendors, and partnersCommunicate clearly and professionally with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersQualifications:University degree/college diploma in a related field or equivalent practical experienceStrong deskside support experience in an enterprise environmentProven experience supporting Microsoft workstation and server operating systemsExperience managing/supporting network environmentsVendor coordination/management experience (nice to have)Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)Self-starter and team player with strong troubleshooting and problem-resolution skillsRequired skills & knowledge:Strong knowledge of common IT hardware (PCs, servers, printers, mobile devices, IoT)Understanding of OS provisioning, configuration management, and patching/software updatesSolid experience in network operations and supportFamiliarity with Incident Management processes/systemsProficiency with Microsoft Windows (workstations and servers) and Microsoft 365/OfficeAbility to travel across Canada and work after hours as move schedules require (including travel to various Intact locations)This role is a new member of our growing team.We are an equal opportunity employerBrokerLink is committed to providing an accessible environment.
