Job summary

RigMac Moving is seeking hardworking individuals to join our team in Eastern Ontario, including Ottawa, Kemptville, Brockville, Cornwall, Kingston and surrounding areas. You will load, unload, wrap and transport furniture, and work as part of a team to deliver stress-free moving experiences.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, reliable, punctual, and possess excellent communication skills. Training is provided, and drivers' licences are a plus. Competitive hourly pay and bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s licence is an asset; previous moving/delivery experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Safely load, unload, and transport customers' furniture and belongings.
• Carefully wrap, protect, and secure furniture and fragile items.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture when required.
• Operate moving equipment and keep trucks organized and clean.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.

What You'll Do

• Safely load, unload, and transport customers' furniture and belongings.
• Carefully wrap, protect, and secure furniture and fragile items.
• Lift and carry heavy items safely with your team.
• Disassemble and reassemble furniture when required.
• Operate moving equipment including dollies, hand trucks, moving straps, and ramps.
• Keep our trucks clean, organized, and ready for each move.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
• Follow all company safety procedures and help create a safe work environment.
• Work efficiently as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude.

What We're Looking For
