Job description

Provide the best possible customer service by efficiently and effectively assisting the driver/trainer with the moving of home and business customers' belongings.

Job Responsibilities

1. Assist driver/trainer with pre/post trip truck inspections and moving equipment inventory.
2. Safely move, pack, and unpack customer belongings using proper equipment, techniques, and following policies.
3. Look for ways to enhance customer satisfaction and fulfill our mission statement.
4. Help organize and secure the truck at the end of each job.
5. Ensure paperwork and revenues are properly secured at the end of the workday.
6. Assist with backing up or maneuvering the truck in tight spaces.
7. Contribute to team efforts to achieve related results.
8. Participate in meetings, suggest improvements for procedures, customer service, and marketing.
9. Follow policies outlined in the employee handbook and by management.
10. Engage in ongoing training through STICK MEN UNIVERSITY.
11. Wear a clean, approved TWO MEN AND A TRUCK uniform at all times.
12. Maintain proper hygiene to uphold a positive company image.
13. Perform other duties as assigned by franchisee, move manager, office manager, or general manager.

Job Requirements

Because moving can be stressful, we seek candidates committed to excellent customer service and adaptability in their role!

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient in GPS/map reading and communicating directions.
• Effective, helpful, and friendly communication with co-workers and customers.
• Ability to listen and follow instructions from the driver/trainer regarding customer service and moving techniques.
• Strong language skills for presenting information to individuals and groups.
• Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers and decimals, applicable to currency, weight, volume, distance, and time.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret various instructions.
• Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, talking, sitting, hearing, manual handling, and occasionally lifting over 100 pounds. Visual abilities required include close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
