Job Description Summary
This position provides administrative support to Dr. Daryl Wile, Clinical Investigator, Centre for Chronic Disease Prevention and Management. Responsibilities include assisting with documentation for grant applications, Research Ethics Board (REB) submissions, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project timelines and tasks.
Organizational Status
The role supports Dr. Wile’s research activities at UBC Okanagan and the Okanagan Movement Disorder Clinic. The Research Coordinator may work at the Reichwald Health Sciences site or remotely from an off-site location such as a home office.

Confidentiality and discretion are essential. Accurate financial transactions are critical to avoid funding loss. The role involves meeting specific deadlines.
Supervision Received
The position is largely independent, with review by Dr. Wile. Initiative and problem-solving are expected.
