Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Motor Control Engineer at Korechi Innovations Inc. located in Courtice, ON.

As a Motor Controls Engineer , you’ll work at the intersection of simulation, embedded systems, and hardware to help design, implement, and refine control algorithms for our cutting-edge devices. The Motor Control Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to process control, electrical engineering, troubleshooting, motion control, and robotics to support the development and maintenance of innovative solutions in the golf and farming industries.

What You’ll Do

  • Design, simulate, and test motor control algorithms, primarily Brushless DC motors
  • Implement real-time embedded systems in C / C++
  • Characterize and calibrate motors and drive systems
  • Create documentation, specs, and support materials for cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with applications, validation, and sales to meet customer needs

What You Bring

  • BASc / BEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
  • 2–3+ years of motor control experience
  • Proficiency in CANOpen, and embedded software (C / C++)
  • Experience with lab test equipment and motor performance testing
  • Ability to work on-site in Courtice (ON) and travel as needed
  • Automation scripting (e.g. Python) for test repeatability
