Job description

We’re hiring full-time Fixed-Term Motor Coach Operators with outstanding customer service to provide safe and comfortable transportation for passengers traveling to and from Sun Peaks Resort. This role will involve transfers to and from Sun Peaks, as well as travel within and between cities across Western Canada. From sports teams to school groups to chartered tours, every day is an adventure! Your role will be from January until the end of April, with the possibility of extension or reassignment to other projects within the communities we serve. This position is part of the company’s expansion and growth through its local subsidiaries.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Safely transport passengers, adhering to all safety programs, policies, and practices
  2. Assist with loading/unloading passenger luggage
  3. Address passenger inquiries and concerns in a polite and professional manner
  4. Keep passengers informed of trip progress and advise of delays if encountered
  5. Conduct and review pre- and post-trip reports of all vehicular, passenger, and employee accidents/incidents
  6. Maintain the bus in clean and presentable condition
  7. Maintain trip logs
  8. Must be able to work various hours and shifts
  9. Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and evenings

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  1. Class 1 or 2 Commercial Driver's License with air brake
  2. Proof of Clean Driver's Abstract
  3. Knowledgeable in motor coach operations, safety, ADA, DMV, and DOT requirements
  4. Minimum of 3 years commercial driving experience, preferably Motor Coach experience
  5. Minimum of 1 year shuttle driving experience
  6. Excellent communication and customer service skills
  7. High school diploma or GED
  8. Experience driving in the snow
