Key Responsibilities
  1. Cultivate, build, and manage relationships with referral networks to generate new mortgage business and increase BMO’s market share.
  2. Identify sales opportunities and refer potential clients to BMO colleagues.
  3. Develop and execute marketing and sales programs to drive results.
  4. Support targeted marketing initiatives and participate in community events.
  5. Guide customers through mortgage application and processing, ensuring excellent service and timely funding.
  6. Partner with branch teams to complete documentation and refer clients for other banking needs.
  7. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and product offerings.
  8. Address customer service issues and escalate complex matters as needed.
  9. Analyze data, prepare reports, and provide insights for strategic decisions.
  10. Maintain operational integrity by completing transactions according to guidelines.
  11. Engage with referral networks to generate new opportunities.
  12. Think creatively, propose solutions, and work independently within the role.
Qualifications
  • Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Deep understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of personal banking, investments, and real estate industry.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and analytical skills.
