Responsibilities

1. Build and manage relationships within a referral network to generate new mortgage business and increase BMO’s market share.
2. Identify sales opportunities and collaborate with BMO colleagues.
3. Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies.
4. Engage with referral sources through partnerships and community events.
5. Assist customers throughout the mortgage application process, providing exceptional service.
6. Partner with branch teams for customer hand-offs and documentation.
7. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and customer needs.
8. Analyze data to provide insights and support operational decisions.
9. Maintain accurate records and documentation.
10. Participate in community outreach and networking activities.
11. Support strategic initiatives and operational programs.

Qualifications

• Typically 3-5 years of relevant experience with a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
• Deep understanding of mortgage lending processes and regulations.
• Strong interpersonal, sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of banking products, real estate industry, and mortgage market.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Compensation

Position offers a commission-based pay structure. Salaries vary based on location, skills, and experience.
