Overview

Mortgage Broker / Agent - Remote

Our client is a rapidly expanding independent brokerage at the forefront of innovation, active in BC, Alberta, and Ontario. They are presently seeking to onboard brokers who embody an entrepreneurial spirit and possess the determination to contribute to the team's growth.

What you will do
  • Cultivate customer relationships through a thorough understanding of their needs, wants, and desires.
  • Build trust, assess the best mortgage options, terms, and rates to provide optimal financial solutions.
  • Collaborate with real estate professionals, lawyers, accountants, the public, lenders, and underwriters.
  • Maintain positive relationships with lending partners, qualify clients, and manage the funding process for various mortgage types, including Purchase Financing, Switch / transfers, Refinances, HELOCs, and Privates.
  • Escalate any document discrepancies or issues to the Director / Managing Broker for review and consultation.
  • Ensure documentation compliance with internal and regulatory guidelines.
  • Maintain clear, concise notes on all files.
What you will need to succeed
  • Minimum of 2 years of previous brokering or lending experience with a minimum of $5 million track record.
  • Valid Mortgage Broker / Agent License.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong time management, an entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, a growth mindset, and a positive attitude.
  • Proficiency with a smartphone, relevant computer, and necessary software; good understanding of financing and debt management.
