Job Title: Mortgage Backed Securities Operations Expert
Duration: 4 months
This is a hybrid work arrangement based in Toronto, ON.

Our client is seeking a Mortgage Backed Securities subject matter expert for an immediate contract consulting position.

In this role you will advise the client on setting up an MBS operation, provide guidance, support, and insight as to how best execute the implementation.

You will have deep experience in MBS operations gained from banking or consulting.

Expertise and Guidance: Providing in-depth knowledge and guidance on MBS, including their structure, issuance, trading, and risk management.

Policy and Procedure Development: Assisting in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and best practices related to MBS.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines governing MBS, such as those related to capital requirements, liquidity, and risk management.

Project Support: Working with project teams to ensure that MBS-related projects are executed effectively and efficiently, meeting technical requirements and following best practices.

Training and Education: Providing training and education to team members and other stakeholders on MBS-related topics.

Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with various stakeholders, including traders, portfolio managers, risk managers, and compliance officers.
