Responsibilities include:

  • Cultivating, building, and managing relationships within an internal referral network to generate new mortgage business and increase BMO's market share.
  • Identifying sales opportunities and referring prospects to BMO colleagues.
  • Developing and executing marketing and sales strategies to achieve results.
  • Supporting targeted marketing campaigns and initiatives.
  • Expanding networks through referrals and existing relationships.
  • Providing exceptional customer service and guiding clients through mortgage applications and processing.
  • Partnering with branch teams for customer handoffs and documentation.
  • Resolving issues promptly to meet customer expectations and ensure timely funds transfer.
  • Referring clients for other banking needs and staying informed on industry trends and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation in internal systems.
  • Analyzing data for insights and reporting.
  • Executing routine tasks within service level agreements.
  • Building strong relationships within the referral network to generate leads and mortgage originations.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational guidelines and handling escalations as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of home financing products and services.
  • Strong customer focus, relationship-building, and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with BMO lending programs and systems preferred.
  • Proven sales productivity and excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Grade: Individual Contributor / Collaborator
