We are looking for a Business Analyst specialised with Sales application for one of our clients, an investment bank set in Montreal
Role Overview
The team is responsible for the information system for capital markets activities (pre-trade, post-trade, risks. The team covers application support, maintenance and developments of the application information system.
The teams works on the Pre-Trade workflows with multiple Sales-Traders applications dedicated by product and a global blotter to centralize all the transactions done in one tool.
The candidate will work on a global application to monitor the commercial activity of Capital Markets in coordination with the Marketing/Sales/e-business/Middle Office departments. This application is used by Sales to manage their transactions, their sales margins and their performance.
The candidate will be responsible for the management and coordination of functional delivery on Sales activities. The candidate will act as the functional referent of the team.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the needs expressed by the business match the solutions proposed by IT. The candidate will be responsible for functional application support.
Key responsabilities :
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to :
Collecting requirements, writing functional specifications, analyzing existing processes and defining target processes:
• Organization of business workshops, drafting of user story functional specifications
• Data analysis: identify golden sources and specify mappings between systems
• Regular contact with developers and users: ensure that needs are well understood and implemented
• Application mapping: identifying the flows between applications and the impacts of the project on these flows
• Monitoring and coordination of the project teams
Guaranteeing the functional quality and maintainability of the applications developed:
• Tests: Writing the BDDs. Defining the testing strategy. Participate in integration tests and organize/conduct UATs
• Participate in production implementation and post-production follow-up: user training
Required Qualifications and Skills:
• 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Graduated in Market Finance
• Agility process
• Good knowledge of FX, Rates, Equity, Bond knowledge
• Good knowledge of MIFID II
• Knowledge of pre-trade trading workflows, Request For Quote (RFQ) systems capture

French : Mandatory
