We are currently seeking an IAM Support Analyst to join one of our clients in the financial sector, a major international bank based in Montreal.

Role Overview :

We are seeking an IT Support Analyst to join a global Identity & Access Management (IAM) operations team. Based in Montreal, you will contribute to the day-to-day stability and continuous improvement of a diverse suite of access management tools supporting internal business functions across multiple regions.

You will play a key role in ensuring operational continuity of IAM services while actively participating in modernization and digitalization initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to engage with both legacy and modern IAM systems, and to build cross-functional knowledge across applications and geographies.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Support & Operations :

  • Ensure availability, reliability, and compliance of IAM-related applications and services
  • Investigate and resolve incidents or user-reported issues
  • Act as a point of contact during outages or service disruptions, coordinating with stakeholders across IT teams
  • Monitor service health and proactively identify areas of improvement or risk
  • Apply internal security and compliance standards across supported systems
  • Understand the integration and interplay of various IAM tools within the organization

Process Optimization & Digital Transformation :

  • Contribute to the team’s shift towards digitalization by reducing manual support activities
  • Propose and support automation of repetitive tasks
  • Lead workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions with application teams to encourage adoption of self-service tools
  • Identify improvements to internal processes and promote best practices
  • Maintain and enhance operational documentation, knowledge bases, and technical runbooks
  • Create internal tutorials (written or video) to facilitate onboarding and troubleshooting
  • Collaborate with international teams based in Europe and Asia to ensure alignment and knowledge transfer
  • Required Skills and Qualifications :

    Technical Skills

  • Basic SQL for querying and troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of Unix / Linux command line
  • Understanding of network fundamentals
  • Exposure to APIs (e.g., how they work, how to consume them – not development)
  • Professional Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support, ideally within IAM or related security domains
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex, multi-tiered IT environments
  • Proven customer service orientation with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfortable working under pressure and managing competing priorities
  • Familiarity with IAM concepts, including access provisioning, identity lifecycle, SSO, and related protocols
  • Additional skills

  • Experience with tools like ElasticSearch, Kibana, or Matomo
  • Familiarity with identity federation standards such as OIDC or SAML
  • Knowledge of scripting or automation (e.g., Python)
  • Interest or experience in cybersecurity-related topics
  • Hybrid model : 2–3 days per week on-site in Montreal
  • Candidate must be based in Montreal or willing to relocate
  • Languages : Fluency in English required; French is an asset
