Job summary

Vantage is seeking an experienced HVAC Technician for our Montreal data center in Pointe-Claire. You will maintain and repair critical mechanical and electrical systems, work with a team of technicians, and ensure uptime and safety in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, familiarity with HVAC, building management, and automation systems, and the ability to read plans and diagrams. On-site position with opportunities for training and career development.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of maintenance and repair experience on industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical plans and single-line diagrams.
• Experience with building monitoring and automation equipment.
• Willingness to follow official training and travel occasionally for training.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical data center systems (HVAC, chillers, UPS, PDU, generators).
• Produce reliability reports to support capacity targets.
• Coordinate maintenance service providers and ensure safety of personnel.
• Create and update standard operating procedures and emergency procedures.
• Respond to safety and emergency situations and maintain a safe work environment.
