Job summary

Vantage in Québec, QC, is seeking a Stationary Mechanical Technician to join our data center facilities team. You will work on-site with a skilled group to maintain critical infrastructure, including HVAC, chillers, building controls, and electrical systems, ensuring uptime and reliability for client environments.

The role requires 3–5 years in industrial maintenance, strong knowledge of electrical distribution, and the ability to read plans and SOPs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in maintenance of industrial electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with generators, switchgear, UPS, HVAC, and building automation.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical plans and single-line diagrams.
• Proven ability to create and update work methods and SOPs for critical installations.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain critical data center systems (HVAC, chillers, building controls, UPS, PDUs).
• Produce reliability reports to monitor capacity and uptime.
• Coordinate maintenance with service providers ensuring safety and continuity.
• Develop work methods and emergency procedures for installations.
• Assist with safety programs and incident responses.
