Job summary

Montana's Nanaimo is seeking a friendly Host to greet Guests and create a welcoming atmosphere at the entrance. You will manage seating, guest flow, and respond to inquiries with a smile, helping to ensure a smooth dining experience.

You will join an energetic team, handle flexible shifts, and support a positive guest experience while assisting with standard restaurant operations and guest departures. Join us for growth and a fun, dynamic work setting.

Montana's is hiring a Host at our Nanaimo location! Montana's is where BBQ-lovers, friends and family alike get together in an energetic gathering place to devour mouth-watering favourites fresh off the grill. We're looking for friendly, down-to-earth Team Members who are passionate about cooking or serving the best BBQ in Canada and want to have a great time doing it.

As a host, you make the first and last impression on each and every Guest that enters Montana's. You are responsible for creating a great atmosphere with your smile, high energy and welcoming personality.

What will you do in this role:

Greet and welcome Guests when entering the restaurant

Manage the Guest Flow, table turns and seating

Accurately complete all set up and closing procedures

Answer the phone in a pleasant manner and respond to Guest inquiries

Manage a wait list and interact with Guests

Offer a friendly final farewell to Guests

Thank Guests for joining us and invite them to return
