Job summary

District School Board Ontario North East is hiring a part-time supervisor monitors to oversee students during nutrition breaks, recess, arrivals, and departures. The role includes ensuring safety, coordinating with staff, and reporting disciplinary concerns as needed.

Successful candidates will work a split-shift schedule, 10 hours per week, with a start as soon as possible through June 25, 2027. Must have a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and be capable of outdoor duties in all weather.

Qualifications

• Grade12 diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience supervising students and maintaining safety protocols is preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly and work with school staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during nutrition breaks, recess, and arrival/departure.
• Monitor hallways, classrooms and bathrooms; assist with bus duty.

Compensation:

• $20.64 per hour, plus vacation pay inaccordance with the Employment Standards Act
