Job description

Job Purpose

The Psychologist Leader is responsible for clinical leadership in the field of psychology, providing support, guidance, and advice on clinical practice.

Qualifications

Must be licensed as a Psychologist under the New Brunswick College of Psychologists and have at least 3 years of progressive related work experience demonstrating leadership ability and competency as a psychologist.

Key Responsibilities

The Psychologist 2 Clinical Leader is responsible to:

  1. Ensure services provided are within the professional scope of practice.
  2. Provide clinical support to Psychologists.
  3. Guide and advise staff, management, and stakeholders regarding clinical practice.
  4. Monitor, assign, and review work.
  5. Perform administrative duties, including overseeing daily operations, participating in staff recruitment, assisting in performance management, statistical activities, and committee work.
  6. Perform clinical work.
