Job summary

Polytainers Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for our molding facility in Etobicoke, ON. You will respond to breakdowns, troubleshoot injection molding machines, and perform preventive maintenance on molding controls and auxiliary equipment.

The role requires an Industrial Electrical license (Ontario) and 8+ years in a fast-paced production setting, with PLC familiarity and strong problem-solving skills. Heavy lifting and safety compliance are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Industrial Electrical license (Ontario) required.
• Minimum 8 years of technical experience in a fast-paced lean manufacturing environment.
• Experience in plastic injection molding or food packaging preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot injection molding machines and control systems for electrical issues.
• Maintain auxiliary equipment and perform preventive maintenance on molding equipment.
• Bench repair of motors, temperature controllers, and electronic cards.
• Locate and replace faulty components and test operation.
• Assist with housekeeping and cross-department support as needed.
• Ensure safety and HACCP guidelines are followed at all times.
