Base pay range

65,000.00 / yr - $70,000.00 / yr

Our team is expanding and looking for an Injection Molding Engineer. We seek a dynamic and driven candidate interested in joining a fast-growing global automotive company.

Responsibilities

The Injection Molding Engineer is responsible for all aspects of injection molding technology, ensuring best practices and successful implementation in the plants. Responsibilities include:

  1. Leading mold evaluation during new product development, overseeing mold opening, and ensuring timely sample delivery.
  2. Managing the entire lifecycle of molds, including order submission, status monitoring, and mold scrapping according to standards.
  3. Managing mold technical documentation, archiving drawings, blueprints, and maintaining the mold registry.
  4. Evaluating mold suppliers and enhancing the supplier evaluation system.
  5. Performing mold mapping, completing 3D modeling, and supporting mold maintenance and improvements.
  6. Leading mold cost reduction initiatives, focusing on optimizing wall thickness for cost efficiency.
  7. Establishing and training local technical teams.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, mechanical design, mold design, or related fields (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years experience with aluminum extrusion, mold manufacturing, and flow analysis.
  • Proficiency in CAD, 3D modeling, and office software.
  • Ability to work under pressure and strong cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Bilingual in Mandarin and English is a plus.
