Non-CA Pay Range (Annual):

$121,000.00 - $224,600.00

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand and define product requirements and plans
  • Design complex RF structures for high-speed optoelectronic modules
  • Develop test vehicles for evaluating performances
  • Work with vendors and process teams to get designs fabricated
  • Conduct high-speed measurements and data analysis
Requirements:
  • M.S. (PhD desired) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
  • 5+ years of experience with RF design and testing desired; expertise with optical transmitter and receiver modules for telecom desired
  • Industry experience desired; proven track record of taking products from early design through volume manufacture
  • Experience with RF design and simulation tools such as HFSS and ADS required
  • Familiarity with high-speed RF test equipment and methods required, including VNA, TDR, electrical spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.
  • In-depth technical understanding of optoelectronic components & ASICs is a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas, concepts, and results to both technical and non-technical colleagues
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment; positive attitude essential
  • Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills desired
