Company Description MEDability Healthcare Solutions is a specialty healthcare retailer that has been serving Markham, Stouffville, Scarborough, York Region, and the Greater Toronto Area for over 20 years. The company provides products and services for seniors, people with mobility restrictions, and individuals requiring respiratory therapy (CPAP), compression products, custom bracing, and aids to daily. As an authorized Assistive Devices Program (ADP) vendor, the team works closely with organizations such as DVA, WSIB, Greenshield, and various medical insurance providers to support clients’ accessibility and mobility needs.

Role Description The Mobility Consultant is a full-time, on-site role based in Markham, ON. This role involves meeting with clients to assess mobility and accessibility needs, explaining product options, and recommending appropriate solutions such as mobility aids. The Mobility Consultant will coordinate with healthcare professionals, funding agencies, and internal teams to support product selection, documentation, and approvals. Daily tasks include preparing quotes, processing orders, arranging installations, providing product demonstrations and training, and ensuring excellent after-sales support. The role also requires maintaining accurate records, staying up to date on product features and funding programs, and contributing to a welcoming and inclusive in-store environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Mobility and Corporate Relocation skills to support clients.
• Consulting experience with the ability to assess client requirements, propose tailored solutions, and collaborate with healthcare and funding stakeholders.
• Excellent Communication and Customer Service skills to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and provide empathetic, respectful support to diverse clients.
• Knowledge of mobility aids, experience in healthcare, rehabilitation, or assistive devices is an asset.
• Ability to work on-site, manage multiple cases, and maintain accurate documentation and follow-up in a fast-paced retail healthcare environment.
• Comfort using basic computer systems for scheduling, quoting, order entry, and communication; familiarity with insurance or funding processes is beneficial.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally for client visits or assessments may be required.
• Relevant education or training in healthcare, mobility solutions, rehabilitation, or a related field is preferred.
