  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points or bans.
  • Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills.

£38,625 + Bonus (OTE £48,000) + Company Van

Hours:

Monday to Friday, 1 in 4 Saturdays. 40-hour contract

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Vehicle Mechanic to join our client’s main site in Bridgwater. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain various vehicle makes and models, requiring a strong understanding of automotive systems and proficiency with diagnostic tools and software to resolve complex problems. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality work.

Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle issues, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical problems
  • Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and repairs
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
  • Stay updated with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair preferred; Level 2 considered, with equivalent qualifications such as City and Guilds, IMI, or NVQ, with proof of qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a vehicle workshop or as a Mobile Vehicle Mechanic
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points or bans
  • Demonstrable technical, electrical, and diagnostic skills
