Job summary

E INC, the parent company of EBlock, seeks a Vehicle Inspector to travel to dealerships, auctions, and off-site locations in the Metro Vancouver area to produce trusted Vehicle Condition Reports. This is a field role, building long-term relationships with customers and ensuring accuracy in inspections.

Base pay is CAD 18.25–19.23 per hour with a competitive bonus plan, paid time off, mileage reimbursement, benefits, RRSP, and life insurance programs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age with reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years’ experience in the automotive industry preferred.
• Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing in a team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vehicle inspections at dealerships, auctions, and off-site locations.
• Identify, assess, and document structural damage, frame condition, and mispaint or mechanical issues.
• Follow training and management-approved instructions for inspections and documentation.
• Develop relationships with customers through regular interaction to meet/exceed expectations.
• Maintain high accuracy to minimize arbitrations.
• Follow all safety and health procedures.
• May be required to locate, start, and move vehicles as needed.
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
