This full-time role requires clear report writing, familiarity with CCTV monitoring, and compliance with security protocols; a valid Ontario Security Guard License, First Aid/ CPR and ability to work 40 hours weekly are essential.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Vulnerable sector check is required.
• Experience with report writing and note-taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid ON Security Guard Licence.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada over 40 hours per week.
• First Aid and CPR.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols and monitor premises to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms and respond to incidents.
• Perform security checks of doors, windows and access points.
• Interact with clients, visitors and employees while enforcing security policies.
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisors and authorities with documentation.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and security personnel as needed.
• Maintain logs of patrols and incidents per policy.
• Inspect security equipment and supplies and report deficiencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose security enhancements.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.
