Job summary

BlackBerry is seeking a software QA engineer to join Secusmart, working on anti-eavesdropping solutions for government and enterprise customers. You will test Android and iOS apps as well as PC platforms, participate in AGILE SCRUM ceremonies, and help improve testing processes.

The role involves collaboration with testers, developers, product management, and UX writers. You will design manual and automated test cases, reproduce issues, and contribute to high-quality software releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer/Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related sciences.
• 5-8 years of SV&V for Android and iOS in Agile environments.
• Strong analytical and issue root-cause analysis skills.
• Familiarity with SCRUM and CI processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Participate in Agile SCRUM software development with cross-functional teams.
• Perform hands-on in-sprint QA to ensure production-grade quality.
• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for Android, iOS and PC.
• Lead process improvements and knowledge sharing across the team.
