Allied Universal is seeking a Mobile Patrol - Full Time position in Edmonton, AB. The role involves front-line security services for a prestigious financial institution, with an overnight shift from 2300 to 0900.

Pay is $18.50 per hour, and benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and training opportunities. Ideal candidates will have security experience, access control knowledge, CCTV familiarity, and be able to work 40 hours per week in Canada.

Qualifications

• Must have valid AB security guard license.
• Eligible to work in Canada (40 hours per week).
• Clear driver’s abstract and BC Full Class 5 licence required.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Must be at least 25 years old.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots and premises, to deter unauthorized activity and ensure safety.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, promptly responding to security breaches or disturbances.
• Perform security checks of buildings and access points to prevent unauthorized entry.
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, enforcing security policies and providing assistance.
• Report incidents to supervisors or authorities, documenting observations and actions.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain logs of patrols and incidents, ensuring compliance with policies.
• Inspect security equipment and supplies, reporting issues for resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments and propose security enhancements to mitigate risks.
• Participate in training sessions to enhance security procedures and response capabilities.

• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and other access points to prevent unauthorized entry and ensure compliance with security protocols
• Interact with clients, visitors, and employees, providing assistance, directions, and information as needed while enforcing security policies
• Report any security incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or appropriate authorities, documenting observations and actions taken
• Collaborate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and emergencies effectively
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities, incidents, and observations, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any issues or deficiencies for prompt resolution
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises, identifying vulnerabilities and recommending security enhancements to mitigate risks
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge of security procedures, emergency response protocols, and relevant regulation
