Chipperfield Mobile Physio & Wellness is seeking a part-time Occupational Therapist to deliver in-home, client-centred care across Vancouver. You will assess, plan, and implement strategies to improve independence and safety in daily activities.

Join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team and enjoy autonomy while maintaining strong connections with clients and referral partners. This role requires travel between client homes and a commitment of at least two clinical days.

Qualifications

• Must hold currentBC registration to practice as an Occupational Therapist (British Columbia).
• Ability to travel between client homes and manage a mobile caseload.
• Demonstrated client-centred approach and autonomous practice.

Responsabilités

• Conduct in-home assessments aligned with client goals, routines, and environment.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to support client outcomes.
• Develop personalized plans to enhance independence, safety, mobility, and daily activities.
• Recommend adaptive equipment and home modifications when appropriate.

This part time role will primarily serve all of Vancouver. It suits an Occupational Therapist who values autonomy, genuine client relationships, and helping people feel safer and more independent in their everyday lives.

What you will do

• Complete thoughtful in home assessments that reflect each client’s goals, routines, and environment.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of Physiotherapists, Rehab Assistants, Kinesiologists, RMTs, Acupuncturists and SLPs.
• Develop personalized plans that support independence, safety, mobility, and meaningful daily activities.
• R ecommend practical strategies, adaptive equipment, and home modifications when appropriate.
• Provide education to clients, families, and caregivers.
• Maintain clear communication and timely clinical documentation.

Who you are

• You hold current registration in good standing to practice as an Occupational Therapist in British Columbia.
• Y ou have access to a reliable vehicle and are comfortable travelling between client homes.
• You are able to commit to at least 2 clinical days (that are not back-to-back).
• You provide engaged, practical, and client centred care.
• You are confident working independently while staying connected with a collaborative team.
• You communicate clearly and build trust with clients, families, and referral partners.
• Mobile, community based, or in home care experience is an asset, though not required for the right person.

Compensation

Expected hourly rate or range: $130.00 - $145.00/hour as an Independent Contractor.
