Job Purpose

As a Mobile Mortgage Specialist at Coast Capital, you'll work with current and prospective members to help them in their pursuit of home ownership by providing expert mortgage advice. You will thrive in an environment that values autonomy and connectivity, with the flexibility to set up your home office and engage with the community.

You'll benefit from a comprehensive commission structure that rewards your initiative across products including mortgages, investments, credit cards, commercial referrals, and insurance, offering a dynamic career. You are a strong communicator who enjoys meeting new people and developing meaningful relationships to meet clients' financial needs.

Accountabilities

  1. Establish and nurture relationships with prospective clients, providing customized mortgage consultations and supporting them through the application process. Follow up regularly to ensure satisfaction and coordinate with internal teams for swift resolution of inquiries.
  2. Stay informed about industry regulations, review mortgage applications for compliance, and educate clients on regulatory requirements affecting mortgage processes.
  3. Offer expert advice on mortgage products, employing strategic sales initiatives to surpass targets. Use a consultative approach to effectively address client needs.
  4. Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels, including social media, to build a strong lead pipeline. Attend industry events and analyze market trends to discover new opportunities.
  5. Participate in local business and community groups to increase visibility, establish partnerships with real estate agents and builders for referrals, and actively engage online for community networking.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years in strategic sales and networking
  • Extensive knowledge of BC real estate and economic markets
  • Knowledge of current residential mortgage products and services
  • Ability to analyze financial data and mortgage applications
  • Understanding of mortgage underwriting standards and regulations
  • Proficiency with CRM software and digital marketing tools
  • Experience in community engagement and online networking
  • Track record of exceeding sales targets and building client relationships
  • Proven ability to develop personal networks and implement lead strategies
