Purpose
To schedule maintenance tasks in conjunction with operations to achieve short and long term maintenance objectives needed to maintain the equipment to achieve budgeted performance, availabilities and the preventative maintenance plan.
Responsibilities
Scheduling
- Schedule 80% of available resources and equipment for daily, weekly, and monthly Maintenance plan
- Have work schedules available and distributed in sufficient time to complete the task
- Ensure work schedules are done in conjunction with each of the supervisors (resources) and comply with operations needs.
- Monitor results to ensure achievement of goals
- PM’s are scheduled to allow sufficient time to complete the task prior to the due date.
- Setup and facilitate weekly KPI’s analysis meetings
- Work with all maintenance and operations departments on scheduling equipment based on priority with respect to mine planning activities and tasks.
- Keep equipment records up to date in the ERP system

Training and Education
- Secondary School Diploma
- 2 years related experience
- Experience with manual and computerized maintenance planning systems.
- Experience with change, communication and knowledge management methodologies
- Experience in implementing Asset Management principles and best practices
- Good organizational skills and familiarity with maintenance terminology
- Must be a team player and be able to maintain Constructive relationships at all levels
- Good communicator with clear and concise messaging
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to drive performance improvement initiatives
- Ability to quickly assess information to diagnose problems and opportunities, with a track record of strong professional judgement and critical thinking
- Ability to manage and influence stakeholders across different functions
