Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a skilled diesel and engine mechanic to perform on-the-road field repairs across Canada. You will diagnose faults using computerized testing equipment, adjust and replace defective parts, and test equipment to ensure performance meets manufacturer specifications.

The role involves attaching components to new farm machinery, performing routine maintenance, and operating diverse equipment on-site and during travel. A strong team player attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized testing equipment to determine repair scope.
• Adjust equipment and replace defective parts as needed.
• Test repaired equipment to verify performance and adherence to specs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
• Attach components and adjust new farm equipment.
• Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Perform other routine maintenance.
• Operate, monitor, maintain, calibrate and test equipment.
