As our Mobile Footwear Specialist, you will have the opportunity to explore the beauty of the Maritimes while providing workers with what they need to build infrastructure—literally from the ground up!

The Mobile Footwear Sales Specialist will help us grow our business by servicing the safety footwear needs of our customers at their places of business.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about service, enjoys being out on the road, and can maneuver a truck and trailer like a pro!

This role involves traveling approximately 75% of the time across several provinces, requiring flexibility in your schedule to adapt to changing weather conditions and customer needs. The ideal candidate is a confident and capable team player, comfortable working autonomously.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process sales and exchanges/refunds using the company’s POS system.
  • Develop proficiency in all operational policies and procedures.
  • Responsible for inventory counting, picking, and stocking of new merchandise.
  • Maintain daily housekeeping of the truck and trailer.
  • Identify maintenance needs and communicate to management for repairs.
  • Protect company assets and minimize loss by following policies and procedures.
  • Keep an accurate daily driving log that complies with the Ministry of Transportation.
  • Perform daily circle checks of the truck.
Qualifications:
  • A Class 5 license is required; a Class 3 license is an asset.
  • A clean driving abstract is required.
  • Willingness to travel and accommodate overnight stays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
  • One year of work-related experience such as customer service, sales, or route sales-driving is preferred.
  • Background in retail or retail management is beneficial.
  • Ability to solve problems and work well independently under pressure while prioritizing tasks.
  • Proficiency in delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using POS systems.
  • Ability to carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, use ladders, and work in confined spaces.
  • Vigilance, concentration, and attention to detail for extended periods.
  • Exposure to elements due to driving duties.
