Mobile Fleet Technician

About the Company - York Electronics 2010 Fleet Division is a company based out of Oshawa, ON, that employs Mobile Fleet Technicians to install fleet telematics / ELD solutions as well as cameras for transportation and construction companies, public works, and public transit.

About the Role - We are hiring full-time technicians to install or repair telematics, ELD, and camera systems at customer locations.

Responsibilities:

1. Represent York Electronics with a clean work uniform. Always present yourself in a courteous and polite manner.
2. Inspect vehicles for damage before starting work and report any concerns to the lead technician.
3. Promptly and efficiently replace or install necessary parts.
4. Arrive at the job site promptly at the scheduled time and coordinate with the lead technician on the location of vehicles.
5. Report any unsafe working conditions to the lead technician on site.
6. Carry out other tasks as may be required from time to time, but are not specifically noted above, as directed by management.

Qualifications: No minimum education; we will provide training if needed.

Required Skills: Basic knowledge of vehicle trim repair and wiring. Also, a valid G Licence is required.

Preferred Skills: Ontario Skilled Trade certificate of 310K, 310S, or 310T.
